Remember....

Without you... this wouldn't be possible... we love you, our dear mommys!

Today...

We met Jen, AnnaLynne, and Kyle for Jen's birthday lunch! We had a nice afternoon just relaxing and chatting... and the babies totally got a nice chance to check each other out! (Sorry, Jen, he already isn't looking up there... he knows where the gold is ;)) I love Jen, and her family. We are so lucky to be able to go through this together! Happy birthday, Jen! I love you! You are my best friend.

3 months has arrived!

Eli turned three months old today... and what a day it was. Despite our best efforts, he wanted to start the party early...I finally caved and took pictures of Alexander and Eli...
Eli is really nice on the weekends and somehow sleeps in for his Daddy on those days so this work day, Alexander had a lesson in early Eli time!

And, yes, we decided to continue to get some good use out of our Halloween jammies... they're still pretty darn cute.

Eli did roll over today... four times... and when I figure out how to get the pictures from my phone onto here... I'll share them (hopefully before he is crawling or walking!) Cheers!

The Roll-Over...

Told ya I'd get it posted before he crawled!!

A new poop queen...

Today Nana came to help me out and enjoy some special time with her grandson. Seriously, she is the best ever! Not only because she helps to ensure a warm winter for Eli (in the picture below I am sure he is wondering what the heck is happening) but because I just love hanging out with my mom. I never thought I would have her as a best friend... but, she is. I always thank her for her help knowing in the back of my mind I am also thanking her for the simple fact of the pleasure of her company-- that is the greatest gift.

Nana helped Eli poop after a few days of not. Afterwards, we had a much happier boy! I guess there is a new poop queen on the scene!

Somewhere over time Eli has become a pro a holding up his head... I still hope I give him enough tummy time!

OOOOOhhh, I love this kid. Cheers.

Babies are fun!

Today we met Edison and Laura in town for a little baby date... our lady friend Ainsley was a bit under the weather, and we missed her!

Edison is about 3 weeks older than Eli and really good at turning his body to check things out! I was ever impressed by his squirmyness, he really seems ready to crawl! Oh, the excitement! I also found it intriguing to see where Eli can be in a matter of weeks. Weeks make such a big difference in the development of an infant! I really enjoy hanging out with the mothers and babies from RT. We (at least I) find refuge in each other, and, as long as we are all still here, will have little ones growing up together! I laughed the other day with Alexander that if we are still here when Eli is 2, the toddler room will be filled with staff children! Not sure how the higher ups will feel about it-- but what an amazing thing to watch... I wonder if this has ever happened before?

And one interesting note about my mother and I... she shared the pregnancy of me with three friends, two ended up being boys, one a girl. How funny! I guess history really can repeat itself. Cheers!
