Flare ups and food...

Today Eli's skin flared up a bit-- this is a normal reaction after medications end. As a friend so kindly told me, he's still cute as heck!

We received our highchair today-- can't wait to use it. WAIT! Yes, we can, at least for food. For now it will be another place to explore different 'things'. We LOVE the highchair! Thanks Grandma Lynette, Grandpa Bruce, and Aunt Abby!

Cheers!

GPS....

that stands for Grandpa Stan. Today was his birthday, so we met him and Brenda for lunch! Happy birthday, Dad... I love you up to the moon and down to the sea!!
We had a wonderful, relaxing time-- listening to good music and eating really good food (again, thanks Brenda!). We got some super photos with our new camera Grandpa Stan got us for Christmas! The clarity is AmAzInG!!!!

We got home to find a package from Great Grandma and Grandpa Rapp full of wonderful goodies for Eli to explore and manipulate!! We are SO excited to watch him play and grow with these toys! They are perfect!

Looks like Eli is thinking 'this is MINE!'

Got some good bath time pictures... got to love a cutie in the water!

Cheers!

The aftermath...

it took a matter of an hour for his skin to clear up with medication. First allergic reaction: check. First medication: check. First recovery: check. I have to focus on that last part and remember the first two. No matter the pressure or advice, we will NOT feed our child ANYTHING but breastmilk until he is six months old: deal with it! I am just thankful he recovered. I love my baby boy.

And, again, from now on, the only thing on the menu is breastmilk and the only thing on this tray is this toy... unless a more interesting one comes along ;).

Cheers.

And then there were sweet potatoes...

which Eli is allergic to. At least for now, his little sweet body cannot handle them. He had his first allergic reaction to Earth's Best organic sweet taters. His face and back broke out pretty bad. Poor guy-- at least his demeanor was perfect the entire time. He laughed and giggled, just had a swollen and speckled red face. I'm sorry Eli. I love you.
